This was a little bit of a bitch to take. The bridge I was standing on was extremely wobbly especially whenever anyone walked onto the bridge behind me.

I took about a dozen photos of the waterfall and underlying pool at the far end of the photo, but I havent been able to get it to a comfortable spot yet hopefully I will get one ready to put up soon.

As always leave your feedback thanks.

The Fujiyoshia Sengen Temple is a rather large one at that. have it being large it also has a lot of foot traffic which was making it difficult to find a good spot to set up without being bumped into or my photos being walked into.

I am a huge fan of the lanterns in Japan and this large one was no different I really wanted to grab it up close with all its details as well as the temples details in the wood. I feel over all pretty good about this photo i just wish I had taken a longer exposure.

Photo – Frozen In Time Fujiyoshida Sengen

I must have taken 50 different exposures of this statue, and i feel I could have taken 50 more. Something about these Dragons and the water really pulls me in. I might be the only one but i just love the look and feel of them. This is one of the things that makes Japan so amazing to live in. You can be randomly walking around and find the most amazing sculpture or statue and it seems that everyone takes it for granted as a normal object. But to me its something new and amazing.
Of course this can be said for any country. This is solely in Japan.

But nothing really grasps at me the same as Japanese culture.

Please let me know what/where makes you feel that somethings special. If you ever want me to try to HDR something in Japan ill do my best just let me know.

By now you have probably noticed a few similar photos of dragons in different poses. There are located at some temples/shrines near the entrances where people can come to wash down there hands and drink a little of the cool refreshing water.

I wish I had captured someone drinking from the cups but that will be for another photo later on I suppose
One strange thing happened while I was taken this photo though. a younger Japanese man came down and grabbed all of the cups and almost lined them up in a perfect sequence in front of me. After which he proceeded to leave as if nothing had happened. never to be seen again.

At a rather large Temple in Fuji there was this little walk way leading back behind into a lush garden with a few smaller shrines.
As Scott and I were heading down looking for one of the lakes around Fuji Scott noticed this little on clove off the road we were on.
I got my Tripod and camera set up just in time as the morning fog started to roll out.
This photo seems to me like the forest is just coming right down onto Scott as he was peering into the valley below.
